Ümraniye DAN-TE (Addiction Counselling and Treatment Center)
Ümraniye DAN-TE Addiction Counseling and Treatment Center has started to serve in Ümraniye Dudullu HASAM building in May 2016 within SBU
Erenköy Training and Research Hospital for Psychıatry and Neurological Diseases.
DAN-TE provides consultancy services on addictive substances, creates and implements awareness, follow-up and treatment plan appropriate for the risks and needs of the applicants and ensures coordination with the relevant institutions.
Persons who personally apply, use substances or wish to receive counseling services benefit from the service. In addition, people who are referred from primary care, inpatient treatment centers, counseling hotlines and other centers also benefit from the service. The center is not an emergency response unit, necessary cases are referred to the emergency services accordingly.
Appointments can be made by personal application at the center or by telephone.
Pharmacological treatment, psychoeducation, individual interview, psychosocial support and group studies are applied for the patients. Psychoeducation groups are also working for families.
A psychiatrist, a psychologist, a nurse and a social worker are working in cooperation with Erenköy AMATEM and other units.
