Patient Rights

  • Patient rights are the rights which aim to ensure that the person exercising his / her right to health receive services in conditions that are appropriate to his / her human rights. It is one of the effective units in the provision of health services equally, quality and effectively.
  • Applications to the patient rights unit are made by the patient and / or relatives. The problem experienced by the patient / patient's relatives is evaluated by evaluating the application at the place of application. In case of failure, the person can apply in writing by petition.
    The applications received are submitted to the Patient Rights Committee in a file so as to resolved and determined. The result of the decision shall be notified to the applicant in writing. The Patient Rights Unit organizes training for patients and their relatives every month.

PATIENT RIGHTS; According to the Patient Rights Regulation published in the Official Gazette No. 23420 dated 01.08.1998, everyone who applied to receive health care from our hospital;

1- Right to Generally Benefit from Services: To benefit from preventive health services and activities aimed at promoting healthy living within the framework of justice and equity principles,

2- Right to Information and Requesting Information: To learn all kinds of services and facilities provided in our hospital, to request all kinds of information about health status orally or in writing,

3- Establishment and Personnel, Right to Choose and Change: To choose and change the health institution, the doctors and personnel to serve, and to learn the identities, duties and titles of the personnel in question,

4- Right to Privacy: To take all kinds of health services in a confidential environment

5- The Right to Refuse, Stop and Consent to Planned Treatment: To refuse treatment, to request it to be stopped, to obtain consent for medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent,

7- The Right to Fulfill Religious Positions: To fulfill the religious obligations within the limits of the facilities of the hospital and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration,

8- Right to respect and comfort: All kinds of hygienic conditions are provided, noise and all disturbing factors are removed in an environment; respect, care and care, friendly, polite, compassionate health service,

9- Right to Visit: To accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by our hospital.

10- Right to have a companion: To request to have a companion within the scope of the regulations of the health institutions and organizations and if the physician considers it appropriate (companion is not accepted in the psychiatry clinics of our hospital),

11- Application, Complaint and Litigation Right: In case of violation of rights, to use all kinds of applications, complaints and litigation rights within the framework of the legislation,

12- Continuous Right to Service: Has the right to benefit from health services as long as necessary.
